Amaxoxo in the Ndebele language means, "Frogs". The song is performed on South African marimbas with vocals and guitar opening with an African nature soundscape. The marimbas echo a chorus of frogs at dusk and into the evening. Amaxoxo is attributed to the late great Alport Mhlanga and his teaching of Zimbabwean style marimba music.
